   I have a big problem with the article on your home page about evil vegetarians. Just because you were able to discover vegetarians among some of the worst humans in history does not prove anything. For just about anything that humans may like you can certainly find evil people who like it and evil people who dislike it. I'm sure I could compile a list of serial killers who loved coffee, would that prove that coffee lovers are dangerous? I could also make a list of evil people who ate lots of meat, would you accept that as a proof that meat eating turns people into monsters? And how about the millions of vegetarians who live peaceful, uneventful lives? Why don't you apply your own logic to them and conclude that vegetarians are really nice people?
   
   I say all this as an avowed meat lover who thinks most vegetarians are plain stupid and militant vegetarians are nut cases. But I would never descend to their level and twist the rules of logic to attack their silly arguments, that would only provide them with more fuel against us (see how stupid those meat lovers are, they can't even put together a coherent argument!)

   Nev-PETA consists of only a tiny portion of the vegetarians out there. Using them as an example is like saying all black people are evil because of what the Black Panthers have done.

    2 years ago peta attacked farmers who were sending live animals to the middle east and then when the famers fought back they rang the police wanting to arrest the farmers for assult even though they started it. breaking into animal shelters and letting animals go some got caught and they said on telly if anyone got in their road to watch out because they didnt care if people got hurt there are a few others bombings lighting fires etc .thats why i dislike peta lot .

    I still just don't buy it, Nev. Give me a link to a news article, something. And not something that says an animal rights activist behaved badly or did something wrong, but something that actually backs up the charge that PETA doesn't have any regard for human life. I just think that that's not a true claim. As Clipse says, PETA is a minority of vegetarians. But I'll go farther than that. PETA members with no regard for human life are a minority of PETA. I often don't agree with PETA... mostly because a lot of their campaigns are tacky and counterproductive, but certainly NOT because they are human-hating terrorists. I believe there are something like 2 million PETA members. The odds are that in any crowd that big, there will be some losers, some assholes. Give me 2 million of anything, some will suck. But I don't think that speaks for the organization as a whole. People love to talk about all this proof about PETA's support of terrorism and connection to crime and whatnot. If everybody posting anonymously on the internet knows if all this seedy illegal behavior, why aren't they passing it on to authorities? How come if it's so easy to prove that there are evil terrorist connections, nobody's being arrested, nothing's being shut down? Because it's fantasy. Because it's just not true.

    I don't believe for a minute that you actually eat meat. Vegetarians are basically nutcases who would love to see the rest of us forced to eat whatever they decree is proper. They are miserable self-hating liberals for the most part and can't just practice their perversion in private. They want to force it on the world so everyone can be as unhappy as they are.     I am also a vegetarian and also a pre-med student. Some of the information on the website is pure fallacy. Maybe it would be time to go and speak with a few hundred different State Board Certified Nutritionists. After you have done that, you will want to take any information and finding you have and visit your local State Colleges and see what the Academic Journals (JSTOR) actually say about diets. These are not always pretty, but they are REAL scientific results speaking to the vegetarian or carnivorous diet. These Journals, unlike the BS shambled across the website, have YEARS of scientific data to back them. The professors and scientists reporting these results have to go through extensive testing and re-verification that results were not skewed or bias. Think for yourself and stop making ridiculous assumptions that are based on the few spattering's of incompetent people, like PETA.

    I honestly don't care what you eat. Sure, I think that veganism/vegetarianism is the more ethical choice, but I don't think of myself as "higher" than the rest of humanity. I can tell you that there are plenty of terrible people out there. Of all races, religions, social classes, etc. Labeling a particular group a certain way because of one individual is incredibly stupid.
    Besides, nothing good ever comes from intolerance. Look at the Holocaust, the Salem Witch trials, the Trail of Tears. Innocent, hardworking people cursed by the ignorance of others and/or one "evil" person who just happened to be a member of their group. I have a friend who's been called "Nazi" because her mother is German. Another is Wiccan and doesn't tell kids at her school her beliefs because of other's narrow-mindedness.

    Saying vegetarians are evil is prejudice (before anyone disagrees with this the dictionary states prejudice as 'forming a negative, usually unjustified attitude toward people before having enough knowledge to be able to do so simply because they are members of a specific social group' which is exactly what this website does).

    Everyone should realize that this site is a lark. It can be fun to point out the extremism of any group of individuals and put it on display.
    The simple fact is that meat eaters are getting their back up because vegetarianism represents a huge shift that threatens North Americans (primarily) as they are the biggest and most wasteful consumers of meat in the world, on average consuming 3 times as much as other first world nations.
    Being reminded of these facts, along with the economic and ecological factors, that clearly indicate that the meat industry will eventually implode upon itself because it is massively unsustainable, is a threat that is [literally and figuratively] hard to swallow.
    Let's not even talk about the slaughterhouse practices that have become incredibly filthy and inhumane.
    Vegetarians and vegans for the most part want to be left in peace--however, when our peace is threatened, verging upon insanity, such as the meat industry run amok, then people will protest.
    Remember, the recent 'Occupy Movement' saw innocent young girls being dragged by their hair and beaten with night sticks and elders being jailed for simply walking by and being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Who are we to judge what REALLY occurs at any protest or stand-off that leads to people behaving badly...?

    Im a 17 year old vegetarian, ive been a veggie since i was 10, i have yound that my healt has actually improved during this time. All of my friends eat meat and so does my family, i have never even attempted to coerce any of them to become a vegetarian, the way i see it is that it is wrong, but i also know that this is my choice, nobody has the right to impose a lyfestyle choice like this on anyone else, but i also dont understand the websites reasoning, your logic is extremely flawed and it is unfair to blame all vegetarians for the actions of the minority.

    I am a healthy 13 year old who became a vegetarian on my own account. I just don't like the taste of meat, just like some people don't like Brussels sprouts. I am 5'6 and 120 lbs and I am at the top of all the advanced classes available to my grade. I am a Catholic and attend church regularly, although that doesn't have to do with the issue at hand. Creators of this website? Don't take away other people's rights. Don't like smoking? Don't smoke. It's that simple, don't trash other people's rights. You have no right to do that to anyone. This story of mine disproves the theory that vegetarianism runs in families. I won't make MY kids become vegetarians. Let them live their OWN lives. I honestly don't see what is the big deal here.

Most were men too, does that mean all men are evil? If they were all Capricorns or raised Atheists, would that count? How about if they all liked Sanford and Son or their favorite color was blue? There will always be similarities and yes many in their cause go to far, but this collection is far out-weighed by the millions of awful humans that kill animals daily - and not just for food (which is awful enough).
